As of October 20, 2025, Horizon Copper Corp. was acquired by Royal Gold, Inc. Horizon Copper Corp., together with its subsidiaries, focuses on the copper mining operations. It also explores for silver, zinc, gold, and molybdenum deposits. The company holds a 30% interest in the Hod Maden project located in Artvin Province, northeastern Türkiye; and a 20% interest in the Oyu Tolgoi copper mine which consist of Hugo North Extension and Heruga deposits located in Mongolia. It also holds interest in the Antamina copper/zinc mine located in the Andes Mountain range of Peru. The company was formerly known as Royalty North Partners Ltd. and changed its name to Horizon Copper Corp. in August 2022.
