Industrial Enterprises of America, formerly known as Advanced Bio/Chem, Inc., was founded in 1974 and is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. On May 1, 2009, Industrial Enterprises of America, Inc. filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Delaware. It is in joint administration with Pitt Penn Holding Company, Inc.
