United Palm Oil Industry Public Company Limited, together with its subsidiaries, produces and sells crude palm oil in Thailand. The company operates in two segments: Oil Palm Plantation, Crude Palm Oil, and Crude Palm Kernel Oil Processing; and Generation of Electricity from Biogases and Biomasses. It also produces other by-products, including crude palm kernel oil and palm kernel cakes; and holds concessions to use forest reserve land, as well as engages in oil palm seed propagation activities. In addition, the company owns oil palm plantations in Krabi and Surat Thani province; and supplies palm kernel cakes to poultry farmers and animal feed producers. The company was incorporated in 1978 and is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand. United Palm Oil Industry Public Company Limited is a subsidiary of Lam Soon (Thailand) Public Company Limited.
